You should not employ Teflon or some other metallic pads to wipe the surface of the Tempered Glass.

Doors, windshields and comparable places where human contact is high are fitted with tempered glass. In addition to its features, this glass is designed to break up into oval pieces that are much less injurious than the normal sheet glass which breaks up into little edgy pieces.
